1 Dress, 4 Ways

The above dress is one of my favorites. The length is just long enough that I don't feel like the wind is going to make me flash everyone, and the cut is cute and flattering(ish) without being tight. In case you can't tell from the photo, the material is sort of light denim or chambray, with a lot of drape. Since I love this dress so much, I challenged myself to style it a couple of different ways. I came up with the following 4:
1) Boho GenZ
2) I live in the Pacific Northwest
3) Neon Kindergarten Teacher
4) Going Out Lewk-- Hahahahaha I don't go anywhere, but how cool are these shoes!?
Hold on to your jodhpurs ladies and gents! Here. We. Gooooooo!

Look 1, The Boho GenZ. I added white Adidas sneakers, a patterned shirt from Marketplace, two burnt orange velveteen scrunchies, and some big fake tortoise shell face earrings. I am also wearing black bike shorts from Aerie to keep me covered under the dress.

Look 2, I Live in the Pacific Northwest. It is unfortunate that I look high in this picture, even though marijuana is legal in my state I am not a smoker, nor have I ever been one. I added a long light gray cardigan, a Palestinian keffiyeh from Tunisia, black Doc Martins, and a checked headband.

Look 3, Neon Kindergarten Teacher
I have such an affinity for this color, somewhere in between yellow and green! I added a white tee shirt with fun sleeves under the dress, kept my black Doc Martins from the last look, and added a pashmina, purse, and headband in different shades and intensities of neon yellow. Don't forget to wash your hands after fingerpainting!

Look 4, Going Out
I don't drink or smoke or stay up late, so I'm last on people's list of fun people to go out with...
I added this embellished denim jacket, high heeled black booties, and a blue silk scarf printed with telephones that I stole from my mother. I topped it off (literally!) with a padded headband with large pearls on the top. The scarf around my ankle is a slight nod to one of my favorite movies, "The Breakfast Club," specifically John Bender.
