Hello lovely people!
I was recently reading through the archives of this blog and thinking about how far I've come. Some of the things I've been through have been wonderful, some have been torturous, and some were supremely difficult at the time but are amazing to look back on. In thinking about this, I can easily address something you may be wondering about; the change in blog title. In a recent conversation with my mother, we agreed that I am a straight- edge hippie. I believe in peace, love (free and otherwise), nature, and caring for yourself . However, I'm simply not interested in getting high or drunk. There is so much that has changed about me as a person as well as the world around me, but I don't really see my attitude towards substances changing any time soon. To be fair, I am still having some pretty wonderful mixed adventures, However, I hope to be able to do other sorts of content on this blog, which I hope you'll all enjoy just as much as I'll love writing them! Please give me some input with a comment! Love y'all! EG

Must run in the family. I was sort of a hippie, since I lived in a communal house of 17 people in college. I was probably the only one there who avoided drinking, smoking or using recreational drugs of any kind. I did go to parties where all that was going on, however. Leave a Reply. |
